Aufguss with Dampmakerne

December Aufguss with the experienced sauna masters Tor Magne Haugen and Michele Rygh from Dampmakerne. They regularly host Aufguss sessions at Badeparken in Langesund and at Gausta Resort, and both have many years of experience as sauna masters. This year, the Dampmakerne community is also celebrating its 5th anniversary! Aufguss is a German word meaning “to pour on”, and refers to a sauna ritual where water, ice and essential oils are poured over hot sauna stones to create steam and aromatic scents. The steam is then circulated through the sauna by the sauna master using a towel or fan. The experience lasts approximately 1,5 hours in total and is divided into several rounds, with good breaks in between. Please bring: Swimwear, two towels (one large towel to sit on and one for drying off), and a bottle of drinking water.
